WHY MY TRIP TO SEATTLE
ROCKED:
1) I made a sign that said "SAW
YOU IN SAN FRAN, VANCOUVER & SEATTLE 'CUZ NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!!" and at one point Kirk was right in front of
me (I was front row again) and he was playin' his guitar and ended up reading my sign, and then he looked at me and kinda
raised his eyebrows like, "Seriously? You saw us in all these places?" and he smiled and nodded and was basically saying,
"Wow...that's awesome!" and then he walked away playing his guitar... To have that man stare right into MY eyes and
acknowledge me was like having him friggen touch my SOUL. I know it sounds stupid, but other than being in love with
the man (ha ha) he is like, MY IDOL.... it was so amazing...
2) I am now in possession of one of Lars'
black towels that he wiped his sweaty face on and then came over and threw at me!!
3) They were all walkin' around
the stage, throwing picks and drum sticks out in the crowd, and as James walked by us, he looked right at me as he was about
to pass by us and I was leaning over that friggen railing as far as I could, yelling "JAMES!!!" and he looked at me as
he was walking by and then stopped and laughed and was like, "Oh, alright..." and he came back and bent down and leaned out
and I fucking touched JAMES ALAN HETFIELD!!! I TOUCHED JAMES HETFIELD!! A FRIGGEN GOD AND I TOUCHED
HIM!!!
4) (Yes, there's more...) Gio
was hangin' around our ide of the stage all night, so when I saw him again I was like, "GIO!!" and he came over and shook
my hand again...and I snuck in my camera (again) and at one point James was in front of us and I got a WICKED shot of just
his face, close up and he was lookin' RIGHT at me, so when he walked away I looked at my sister and was like, "He looked RIGHT
AT ME!" and she was like, "Nah..he was lookin' at me!" and then we heard this mimicking coming from off to the side, so we
look over and there's big ol' GIO, makin' fun of us, "Ooh..he looked at me! No, he looked at me! No, he looked
at ME!" and we were like, "Uh, excuse us??" and my sister said, "You shouldn't laugh at us - it's not funny..." and he was
like, "Uh, actually, it IS funny..." and he started laughing. I snapped a couple shots of him, too...I took THREE rolls
of film while I was in there - all of the guys!! So I'm picking them up ths morning and will have to scan some of them
to show off!!
