Welcome to Nothing Else in B.C. Matters the only Local Chapter of the Metallica Club in British Columbia and only the second one in Canada. Our goal is to give Metallica fans from all across the province a chance to interact with one another, make new friends, and get the word out about the loudest band in the world: Metallica! Also, whenever James, Lars, Kirk, and Rob come around on tour, we will be there and we will bring the noise to let them know that British Columbia loves them.

Throughout the course of the year, Nothing Else in B.C. Matters hopes to have several events that will allow the Chapter’s members to meet in person, watch Metallica movies, and perhaps even have some contests to win cool Metallica swag. Due to our status as a British Columbia, and not just a Vancouver, Chapter, these events will not just take place in Vancouver, but likely also Kelowna (where our Chapter Head is from) and several other locations. Road trip, anyone?

For those who collect Metallica bootlegs we will also have a trading post to swap audio and video recordings of live performances. (IMPORTANT NOTE: Official releases, such as the LiveMetallica.com recordings, are not to be traded. They are copyright material and those who are caught breaking this rule will face consequences) For those looking to get into trading, the more experienced members will be happy to pass on what they have learned and where to go to build up their collections.

And of course, concerts. It will not be another six years until Metallica visits B.C. again. The next time the boyz hit Vancouver, or anywhere in Western Canada or the Pacific Northwest, Nothing Else in B.C. Matters will be there in force to show our support. Our members have also attended shows in Ontario, Philadelphia, New Jersey, and California to show James, Lars, Kirk, and Rob how much we love and appreciate them. Several members have also won coveted Meet & Greet passes and shared their stories with us.
